PRE-PURCHASE BUILDING INSPECTIONS

Northern NSW

Buying a property is one of the biggest investments you'll make. A professional pre-purchase building inspection helps you understand the condition of a property before committing to your purchase.

At EVORA Building & Pest Inspections, we bring over 20 years of hands-on building experience to every inspection. Our background in high-end residential construction and renovations provides practical insight into building defects, workmanship and potential maintenance concerns.

Based in Northern NSW, we provide pre-purchase building inspections across Byron Bay, Ballina, Lennox Head, Bangalow, Lismore, Tweed Heads, Casino, Yamba and surrounding areas.

Our goal is to provide clear, practical information so you can make informed property decisions with confidence.

At EVORA Building & Pest Inspections, we conduct thorough visual inspections of all accessible areas of a property, helping identify visible building defects, signs of deterioration and potential maintenance concerns.

Our pre-purchase building inspections generally include the following areas, where safely accessible:

  • Roof Exterior – Visible roof coverings, flashings, gutters and associated components.

  • Roof Space – Accessible roof framing, structural elements and visible signs of moisture damage or deterioration.

  • Building Exterior – External walls, cladding, windows, doors and other visible building components.

  • Building Interior – Internal walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows and visible finishes.

  • Wet Areas – Bathrooms, kitchens and laundries, looking for visible signs of moisture damage, deterioration and other defects.

  • Subfloor Areas – Accessible underfloor spaces, structural supports and visible signs of dampness or deterioration.

  • Surrounding Property – Accessible external areas, including visible drainage concerns, paths, retaining walls and other relevant site features.

Our inspections are visual and non-invasive, limited to areas that are safely and reasonably accessible at the time of inspection. Concealed defects may not be detectable, and inaccessible areas are not inspected.

With over 20 years of hands-on building experience, EVORA provides practical insight into the condition of a property, helping buyers better understand potential issues before making one of life's biggest investments.
